Please see below Memo that was recently released from HPEI regarding the U15AA Female league that will be piloted on PEI this year.
The MidIsle AA team will be a zone wide team (just like the AAA teams) with players from all associations within our zone being allowed to tryout. The team will play out of Southside and will be using Crapaud and Borden rinks for ice times. They will also fall under the Wildcats Board for guidance and direction.
With Western Zone not hosting a team, players from the west will be allowed to try out in our zone for this AA team. Transfers for these players are only needed if they are successful in making the team and they are not required to apply for a transfer in order to attend tryouts.
In other exciting news, the reintroduction of tiering to the female divisions this season has also been approved. Details on this process will be made public when we see how many teams are in each division.
